It's a big deal when you look at the planet and most of Planet Earth is an ocean!
Everyone can celebrate World Ocean Day because without the oceans we would:
- Miss one-half of the air we breathe
- Not be able to make sandcastles on the beach
- Never hear a humpback whale sing
- Be unable to see dolphins jump in the air
- Never feel the joy of salty air
- Not hear the sound of waves crashing against the rocks
